I have been aching to run. It is getting hard to wait till after my baby arrives...
God has given me that name of my fitness/nutrition program and exactly how to structure it. It just came to me. Really, He just dropped it in my spirit. You all know that I have been wanting to do something like this, but I wasn't sure how I was going to do it. Now I know exactly what I am going to do. I am going to pray and study more so that it will be totally from God with all of His ways involved. I really want to touch lives with what I have been through. There are lots of people who need assistance with food addictions and eating disorders.
This is the first full week of the new year. I have committed or should I say recommitted to putting God in everything. I talk to him at every turn. One of my many goals this year is to pray without ceasing. That means including God in everything from eating breakfast to putting on my socks. It will be something that will come naturally with continued practice.
I would like to share a scripture that was meaningful to me today. I hope you enjoy it too.
For [of course] every house is build and furnished by someone, but the Builder of all things and the Furnisher [ of the entire equipment of all things} is God. Hebrew 3:4 (amplified).
This scripture was helpful to me. It goes right with my quest to include God in everything that I do or attempt to get involved in. The most important lesson for me in 2010 was having the right heart attitude; the right motives. This year, I will continue to keep the right motives in the plan, but in order to do that, I must have God in EVERYTHING that I do--even the small things. So that is my challenge this year, talking to my God and seeking Him for everything.
I filled out an application for participation in a ministry at the church dealing with teenagers. I have to have a background check. After that clears, I can begin working. I am excited about that.
Business wise, I am so on the right track. I love how everything is going slowly. This gives me a chance to keep things under control the best I can. Frederick has agreed to complete a master's degree in a field that will assist me in the future. I LOVE IT! A FAMILY THING!
